When it comes to any building, one of the most dangerous things are electrical hazards – and one of the best ways to find those hazards are with Thermal Imaging.
Thermal imaging finds electrical hazards before they become more serious. As we have discussed in previous blogs, IR cameras see temperature differentials.
These temperature differentials are key to finding electrical issues. For instance, breakers work on heat basically. If a breaker is faulty, the breaker will run hot. With an infrared camera, we can see the breaker running hot, which give you an opportunity to correct the issue before it becomes a fire hazard.
Or perhaps an electrician did not do his box calculations properly for a junction box. Without dismantling all of your junction boxes, we are able to find many of these issues with an infrared camera.
