While the majority of people will be upfront with you when you buy a home, there are some unscrupulous homeowners who will purposely hide defects in their home, trying to deceive you. Whether it is water damage, a leaking HVAC system, or electrical issues, your chances to see them with your bare eyes when the seller is trying to hide them are slim, but with a tool that can detect temperature differentials, the odds are on your side.
